AVPA is dedicated to unlocking new capital for social impact across Africa. We are a Pan-African network for social investors interested in collaborating to increase the flow of capital into social investments in Africa and ensure that capital (financial, human and/or intellectual) is deployed as effectively and innovatively as possible for maximum social impact.
We see social investment as a continuum that encompasses everything from philanthropy and venture philanthropy to impact investing, CSR and sustainable investments by private businesses. We call this the “The Continuum of Capital”.
AVPA has offices in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa, enabling us to deliver continent-wide support to social investors by helping them connect with a broader network of players, share tools and case studies, as well as collaborate around various initiatives and sectors.
