Dr. Sonak Pastakia serves as a Professor within the Purdue University Center for Health Equity and Innovation. Through his position at the University and as a consultant for Abbott, he has been based in Kenya and India implementing community-centered care with the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) and Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA). He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles, four book chapters, and raised over $150 million in cash grants and product donations to support population health improvement efforts in Kenya and India.
