Stroke Action Nigeria
Rita is educated as a Nurse practitioner and manager, she is also an advocate for Stroke Care, who is supporting the development of proactive and sustainable services for raising awareness about strokes, stroke prevention, stroke rehabilitation, social stroke support and supporting carers of stroke survivors. She is the founder of Stroke Action Nigeria a national Stroke Support Organisation (SSO) with an aim to help promote positive wellbeing, and, save lives through helping stroke survivors regain function and independence, as well as, preventing and managing stroke risk factors like Atrial Fibrillation, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Hypertension, Obesity, Physical Inactivity.
