Jo is an expert in socio-economic development in emerging economies, with over 15- years experience in sustainable business, international development, impact investing and philanthropy. She has considerable programme delivery experience in the sectors of water, infrastructure, energy, agriculture and climate change through her work with UK Aid (DFID), HNWIs, the Adaptation Fund and the Green Climate Fund. During her time with PwC in London, Jo provided sustainability and climate change advisory to corporates.

With 10 years working and living in Africa and South America, she has a deep understanding of sustainable economic development in this context. Prior to joining Innovest, Jo was heavily involved in the infrastructure and construction sector, including roles to mobilise finance for infrastructure investments in Southern Africa. She also worked with a range of impact focused businesses across South Africa on their readiness of impact investment and finance raising.
