Isabelle is the Founder and President of Solid’Africa, a not for profit that aims to preserve dignity, accelerate the recovery process, and promote health equity for vulnerable patients in our public hospitals. After finishing tertiary education in Belgium Isabelle returned to Rwanda and while visiting a hospital she realised that she could help improve the quality of stay for hospitalised patients. Solid’Africa currently runs successful programmes providing financial assistance for medical and transport bills, water purification systems for hospitals, and other public health initiatives such as offering daily meals for patients in need or with special dietary requirements.
