Dr Frank Aswani is a passionate pan-African and perennial Afro-optimist who believes that Africans should be at the forefront of solving our own problems. Frank is the CEO of the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA), a network of social investors collaborating to increase the flow of capital into social investment across Africa. He serves as visiting faculty at the Oxford Said Business School Social Finance program and sits on the investment committee of the MasterCard Foundation Africa Growth Fund. He is also the founder and host of the Afropact Podcast series, a podcast showcasing stories of African Impact by highlighting African solutions to African problems.
