Florence is an international development professional with 22 years of experience providing professional services to African governments and development partners (both bilateral and multilateral institutions).

She is currently the Africa Director for NIRAS International Consulting, working in sectors related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Previously, Florence was the Country Senior Partner for PwC Rwanda where she led the country office and the public sector line of service.

Florence has experience working in countries across Sub-Saharan Africa. Her expertise includes technical assistance, public sector reform, public policy, fund management, public financial management, project/programme management, governance, monitoring, evaluation and learning, independent verifications, audits, institutional assessments, and capacity building. Florence has experience in various sectors including agriculture, private sector development, ICT, education, health, hospitality, manufacturing, and infrastructure (water, energy and urbanization), amongst other sectors that drive economies.

Florence is an independent member of the Investment Committee for EG Capital which invests in education, food, education and climate resilience. She is also a member of the International Board for Inkomoko (https://www.inkomoko.com/) which works with micro and small entrepreneurs to create jobs and improve livelihoods and is currently the largest lender to refugee entrepreneurs in Africa. Florence holds a Masters in Development Finance from the University of Manchester and is an Eisenhower Fellow (https://www.efworld.org/).
