Africa Health Financing Fellowship (AHFF)

The Africa Health Financing Fellowship is an impact leadership programme targeting investors, donors, governments and social entrepreneurs, designed to bridge the current healthcare funding gap, advance innovative financing models and provide funders as well as innovators with the tools needed to catalyse increased capital flows and sustainable investing into the healthcare sector.

The programme provides the opportunity to learn how to apply innovative finance to healthcare, sustainably deliver healthcare outcomes, connect and collaborate with other Pan-African investors and social entrepreneurs and become an integral part of a growing Community of Practice of Africa’s leading impact investors and practitioners.

Target Audience

  1. Healthcare Social Investors: The social investors, across the  ‘Continuum of Capital of grants, debt or equity’; They’ll range from grant-making foundations, family offices, aid agencies, DFIs, development banks, corporates, Fund managers, to government healthcare agencies and financial institutions.
  2. Healthcare entrepreneurs: Healthcare social entrepreneurs who are innovating new solutions and scaling proven ones will be able to engage, in close contact, with investors to better understand what it takes for them to succeed in attracting investment and scaling their businesses. 
  3. Non-financial service providers in the Healthcare space, e.g. organisations offering advisory services providers
