The African Healthcare Funders Fellowship a 12-week Leadership Programme followed by nine months of supporting activities for Africa’s leading social investors/funders grantmakers, private equity/venture capital fund managers, angel investors, impact investors, development finance institutions, mainstream social investors, etc. operating across the entire healthcare value chain ( medical products and technologies, research, insurance, financing, service delivery, governance, and workforce).
During the Fellowship, CEOs of innovative African healthcare companies, carefully selected by Ashoka, will join leading social investors to explore the challenges and opportunities that the sector provides. They will dissect business models, analyze different funding approaches, explore partnership opportunities, showcase innovative solutions and discuss their views on the future of healthcare.
