Roshini Prakash

Roshini Prakash is Product Director at AVPN. She leads research insights and the development of a new talent platform, which aims to enhance the flow of qualified human capital into the social sector in the Asia-Pacific region.
Roshini brings with her close to 15 years’ experience in research, strategy and advocacy across the non-profit and international development sector. In her last role as Assistant Director, Knowledge & Advocacy at Singapore’s National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), she led primary and secondary qualitative research to enable more strategic, impactful and sustained giving. Prior to this, she authored several working papers on philanthropy and social enterprise at the Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy and supported research, capacity-building and advocacy on aid effectiveness at the Asian Development Bank.

Roshini has a Master in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She serves as Council member at the Singapore Red Cross Society, and in her free time is often exploring new restaurants or at the beach.
