Kymberly Bays

Kymberly Bays leads the Communications and Innovation Unit at the United Nations Development Programme in South Sudan. Her portfolio includes managing innovation initiatives such as the South Sudan Accelerator Lab. Previously, Kymberly served with the Accelerator Lab Global Network (91 Labs covering 115 countries), part of UNDP’s drive to be an incubator for the future by sourcing, testing, and scaling solutions that can accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda. Kymberly is specifically interested in how effective impact investing and public-private partnerships can drive enterprise development and African trade integration, to ultimately address youth unemployment and close gender gaps on the continent. Kymberly has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from Temple University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris.
