Julia Price

Julia’s background is in investment banking, having worked at Rand Merchant Bank as a dealmaker in convertible bonds, fixed income structuring and principal investments. She joined First National Bank as EA to then CEO, Michael Jordaan, before building out alternative private equity and hedge funds for Ashburton Investments.

Julia was then accepted into Stanford Business School where she studied Tech Entrepreneurship, Clean Energy, Quantitative Dealmaking and Californian wines. She was invited into the Silicon Valley Innovation Academy where she found a passion for impact-based models to connect African entrepreneurs to new sources of funding.

She co-founded Linea Capital, specializing in revenue-based finance to fund growth-stage companies in Africa. She co-founded Five35 Ventures, a female-focused pan-African fund, and sits on the Launch Africa Venture Fund Investment Committee.
